The Mind – Which Direction Do You Choose?

The mind is so mysterious to me – a powerful entity that can shape your destiny. I know firsthand the power of the mind. It has had the ability to wreck me and the power to raise me to new heights. Through my life’s experiences, and the example of others, I have come to learn that I have full control in which direction the mind will take me. It is totally up to me despite any outside influences.

I take great solace and strength in the fact that I have the mind of Christ. The bible says so! Rest on that for a moment. It is overwhelming to contemplate, and all believers have the same blessing.

Maybe you don’t believe in Christ like I do. Surely you believe in a higher power though. Or maybe you just rely on and tap into your own hidden strengths. None the less, the potential of the mind is there for all of us to tap into. 

Once the mind is made up, one can soar to supernatural heights; and the reverse is true too – you can languish in despair and brokenness if you allow your mind to rest there.

I know which road I want to travel, and it is far from the pits of hell. Trust me, you don’t want to venture there! So, my mind is made up. It is upward and forward for here on out.

Are you ready to make that decision too?  Don’t waste a moment floundering, for time is precious as the saying goes! Why stay in pain longer than you have to; stuck in a comfort zone that gets you nowhere fast. Find the joy that comes when you set your mind to the task. Accomplishment is yours to be had – that is a guarantee!
