Winning the Weight Loss Battle One Day At a Time

I see my future self. The image is so clear! I am lean, healthy and fit – a model for anyone wanting fitness to be associated with their name.

But I have to face reality too. I am far from my ideal self. Today, I am still considered obese, weighing in at 209.5 pounds. I despise the unsightly body fat I lug around with me every day! But I won’t let the reality of the day get me down for long. Instead, I face each day with determined focus, for I believe with all certainty that I will reach all my fitness goals. Winning starts in the mind, right?

I approach every day with a winning attitude. My focus is clearly on all that I can do each and every moment to propel me forward. Weight loss plateaus raise their ugly head from time to time, but my fitness passion does not waiver. Those obstacles are only minor, and they just deepen my resolve!

This is my mantra: If I can conquer today, tomorrow will be a dream realized!
