5 of My Weight Loss Non-Negotiables

  1. PRAYER. I pray every day, many times a day, surrendering my weight loss journey to the Lord. It is in Him that I find my deepest strength for the journey. I want my weight loss story to radiate all that is Divine in me, honoring the Lord who blessed me with life, as He stirs within my heart desires to be healthy and fit for a lifetime!

  2. MINDSET. Losing weight starts in your mind, for you have to be in the proper headspace in order to see lasting and sustainable results! A fitness mindset needs to be cultivated every day.

  3. NUTRITION. The nutrients we take in each day are the building blocks for a fit and healthy body. An elite physique is made in the kitchen!

  4. EXERCISE & MOVEMENT. Daily exercise is a ritual of mine, and I make sure to incorporate non-exercise related movement (housework, cleaning my car, taking the stairs, etc.) into my schedule as often as possible.

  5. SOCIAL SUPPORT & ACCOUNTABILITY. I am not shy to share my weight loss ambitions with as many people, and in as many ways as possible. Research shows that having friends and family who support your journey is key to weight loss success. It takes a team!

As a side note, some of these non-negotiable can be adopted for any endeavor you find important. It is all about embracing high level values, setting and fostering standards and then executing on them if success is something you are after!
