Fear! It can drive you or it can destroy you!

How many of us approach our fitness filled with fear? I know I do at times. I believe we all do at some level. In full honesty, being fit is not always a magical or pretty process. I can attest to the fact that it is possible to love the process of taking care of your body, but to dismiss the fact that the effort is hard and draining at times, is to paint it as anything than what it truly is.

My question to you is this: Because you know that attaining a superior level of fitness is to step into a place of discomfort, will you disregard all good reason to do it? While fear may be a common current flowing through our lives, it doesn’t have to be a crippling, destructive force! It can be the impetus for magic to blossom in your life if you will just refuse to negotiate with yourself and settle for less! If you feed the fear, it will win every time!

If I can teach you anything, it is to teach you to take the risk of living a life grounded in fitness. The reward is unimaginably beautiful!

Free yourself from the paralyzing effect of fear. The choice is yours to make. Victory resides there! Be courageous. You have to step into the fear and focus on what you want to accomplish, and accomplishment will come to be. Seek. Find. It truly is that simple!

Take the time to look deep within yourself and embrace the sacredness of the lessons found there. Find the why of your situation. It is a powerful source for change! That is when you are driven and not destroyed by fear!

A helpful tip is to let go of what you can’t control. Easier said than done sometimes, but if you pause and take a deep cleansing breath, you will find that it is in those moments that God is clearly asking you to trust in the fullness of His assuring presence.

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” God says with emphasis that “He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” – Deuteronomy 31:8

I believe in you. You can conquer any fear that is hindering your fitness journey. If I can do it so can you!
