It’s a Matter of Choice

It’s clear to me, having lived it, that the process of transforming is truly a matter of choice – a choice that is yours alone to make if you wish to morph into the better version of yourself.
Transformation I find, is a life-long pursuit. The alternative is to stay stuck and rooted in stagnation. You may find that transformation is uncomfortable as it stretches your pain tolerance limits. But, I have found that the process of stagnation is even more uncomfortable!
In a nutshell, it is more painful to live in an unfulfilled way than it is to reach for the stars! The ease that comes from a comfort zone found in utter stillness leaves me squeezy. It’s a life riddled with regret. It is a path that I refuse to travel down!
To languish and have a lackluster attitude hardly appeals to me anymore. To wallow with a stinky attitude is a thing of my past, and I thank my Lord from the bottom of my heart for his tender, gracious care!
A word of warning: the choice to transform can be unsettling. It is not always easy to step into the unknown. When you lack clarity of what lies around the corner, you grip the wheel so tightly and the resulting tension is felt in such an overwhelming way sometimes. It is highly uncomfortable, but you keep your foot on the pedal. The precipitous curves lead to safer terrain if you just keep trekking.
So, I encourage you to transform, to make the proper choices. Seek it out in every area of your life with all the vigor you can muster. The results will be beyond wonderful!
